Disclosures

Reopened on June 1st

Our community has been through a lot over the last few months, and all of us are looking forward to resuming our normal habits and routines. While many things have changed, one thing has remained the same: our commitment to your safety.

We have implemented numerous precautions and safe practice guidelines to protect you during your dental visits. We are adhering to all CDC and ADA guidelines including pre-visit medical screenings, mandatory masks for everyone in the office, extra disposable barriers, and rigorous disinfecting procedures. We also go above and beyond and use new engineering approaches, such as medical-grade air purifiers, UVC sterilization lights, and extraoral suction machines to disinfect and purify the air.

We have staggered patient appointments to allow for better social distancing. We can split our days into family and individual appointment times. We encourage families to come in as a group, and for individuals to complete all necessary treatments in one appointment if possible.

In order to better prevent the spread of the virus, the waiting room will be replaced by the parking lot. You may communicate your arrival to us via phone call. All billing questions will be answered on the phone while you are in your car in order to reduce the time you are in the office. We can also do virtual visits and/or consultations when appropriate. We ask that office entry be limited to patients only if they are able to communicate independently without the aid of others.

We look forward to seeing you and are happy to answer any questions you may have about the steps we take to keep you safe in our practice. To make an appointment, please call our office at (734) 425-7888 or visit our website at www.SmileHereDental.com.

We value your trust and loyalty and look forward to welcoming back our patients, neighbors, and friends.

Sincerely,

Drs. Guo, Jiang, Chan, and the SmileHere Dental Staff

COVID-19 Safety Protocols

At SmileHere Family Dental, we are dedicated to the safety of our patients and staff. We have taken certain infection control measures to make your visits to our office as safe as possible.
We strictly follow the guidelines provided by the ADA, CDC, and OSHA as part of the infection control procedures. We stay up-to-date on any new guidance provided by these agencies.
Have a look at the changes we implemented in our office to help protect our patients and staff:

Virtual Waiting Room

Please give us a call when you arrive and remain in your vehicle until we assess your temperature. If you have a temperature at or above 100.4° F, we will reschedule your appointment.

Pre-Screening Of Every Patient

Before making an appointment, we will pre-screen patients on the phone in case they have any symptoms.

Compulsorily Wear a Mask

Make sure to wear a mask whenever you arrive at the dental office.

Expanded Patient Appointments

We will manage the appointments in a way that we could maintain social distancing between patients. This means we will be offering fewer options to schedule your visit.

Sanitize Your Hands

We have a hand sanitizer that we will ask you to use when you enter the office.

Oral Antimicrobial Rinse

Before making you sit on the dental chair, you will have to use an oral pre-rinse for about 30 seconds.

PPE

We have reinforced our staff and doctor PPE barriers.

Air Filtration System

We have enhanced our office air filtration system. This system circulates and removes aerosols every 15 minutes, including the viral particles. It can also help reduce the spread of airborne pollutants and focus on providing protective hygiene.

Cleaning After Every Appointment

In each operatory, after every patient, we thoroughly wipe, sanitize, and disinfect all instruments, equipment, and surfaces to make everything super clean.

Advanced Staff Training

We have trained our team members regarding additional awareness and also prevention programs to enhance their knowledge and keep them more prepared.

We will be happy to answer any questions you may have in your mind regarding the steps we have taken to make your visit a safe and secure one. To make an appointment, please call our office from your nearest location.
Sincerely,
SmileHere Family Dental Team
